Weis Community Fund

$37,000 in grants were available in the 2023 Weis Community Fund Grants.

About the Weis Community Fund

The Weis Community Fund was set up to have a longstanding impact in the Toowoomba community and leave a legacy that honours Weis’ 60+ year history. It brings to life the Weis team’s passion for entrepreneurship, innovation, continuous improvement, and quality agricultural ingredients.

Through the Weis Community Fund, parent company Unilever acknowledged the exceptional role that Weis played in the Toowoomba community and has demonstrated it wants the contribution of the factory and its people to be remembered and celebrated.

The principles established for the fund are to support the next generation of local entrepreneurs, create meaningful jobs for local people, support innovation and skills development in agri-foods and support sustainable farming.

The Weis Community Fund is proudly managed by the Heritage Bank Charitable Foundation.
