Meet our Partners

Grant Round 2: Meet Our Partners

In our second grants round, we provided grants to support five charitable organisations. These organisations were Bravehearts, Baby Give Back, The Australian Literacy and Numeracy Foundation, The South Burnett Pantry and Youth Insearch.

Bravehearts

Bravehearts' Mission is to Prevent Child Sexual Assault & Exploitation in our Society. Services include children’s therapy, case-management/advocacy support, child/youth personal safety education, training, research, risk mitigation, legislative reform & public awareness campaigns.

Baby Give Back

Baby Give Back is a charity that collects, cleans and safety-checks pre-loved donated baby essentials, which are then recycled and rehomed to disadvantaged and vulnerable families in Queensland. It operates with social service agencies to ensure items go directly to families in need.

The Australian Literacy and Numeracy Foundation

ALNF is a national charity assisting our most marginalised communities to gain vital language, literacy and communication skills. ALNF believes in literacy for all, because being able to read and write is the key to participating fully in society.

The South Burnett Pantry

The South Burnett Pantry was born in 2012 out of a concern for vulnerable families struggling with cost of living expenses. Concerned community members come together donating personal items and loaning equipment to help those in need. The Pantry now averages 90 customers a week accessing their food hamper service and more shopping at their low-cost Thrift shop.

Youth Insearch

Youth Insearch runs one of the most successful youth intervention programs in Australia, working with at risk youth aged 14 to 20, enabling them to reach their full potential. The program has a peer focus, on young people helping young people.
