Heritage Bank Charitable Foundation Community at Heart Appeal 2023

Growing stronger communities is at the very heart of what the Foundation was set up to achieve.
We are very excited to launch our second Community at Heart Appeal.
The Appeal will run from Monday 10 July to Friday 14 July.
This year we will be supporting children whose education has been disrupted by domestic and family violence get back to school as quickly as possible.
The aim of the campaign is to collect as many new lunch boxes and water bottles as possible. These will be used by our amazing charity partner Zephyr Education Inc to ensure kids entering a domestic violence shelter have all the necessary supplies to start at a new school.
The Heritage branch network will be used as a collection point for you to donate the lunch boxes and drink bottles.
Last year’s Community at Heart Appeal was a great success collecting over 700 children’s books for The Australian Literacy and Numeracy Foundation.
Why support our Community at Heart Appeal?
When fleeing domestic violence many children have to move schools. Zephyr Education helps reduce the stress of change. Through their support children are able hit the ground running with the correct uniform, books and other supplies.
Zephyr Education now supports children in over 178 domestic violence shelters and outreach organisations in Queensland, Tasmania, WA, ACT, northern NSW, Adelaide and Darwin.
This is a great opportunity to come together as a collective to showcase what having Community at Heart can achieve.
How can you support the Appeal?
Purchase a new lunch box and/or water bottle and drop it into a Heritage Bank branch near you.

If you don’t have time to purchase a lunch box or drink bottle you can still support the appeal by making a donation through GiveNow securely online. We will use the donation to purchase supplies on your behalf.
